One thing thats been spinning around my head since both the tentacle themed warlock T13 and transmogrification were announced was a tentacle themed transmog set.
Because nothing says I love you like RPing as the closest thing to tentacle hentai in game and rubbing up next to your guildies in raid.
Armor
The main question to ask yourself here is which recolor of the set do you want to use?
While I like the Grey recolor over all, the Grey tentacles seem, at least to me, lifeless and dead, as this is aiming to be a tentacle transmog set we want to emphasize those, as such I’m personally going with the normal set and its bright pink fleshy tentacles. Also its much easier to get pieces that match the normal mode set I’ve found looking back.
For non warlocks who want to borrow our extremely sexy tentacle transmog, or warlocks without access to tier tokens these are the appropriate pieces to use in place of the tier pieces
- Hood of Hidden Flesh – Sold by the valor vendors for 2200 valor
- Mosswrought Shoulderguards – Drop from Morchok
- Robes of Searing Shadow – Sold by the valor vendors for 2200 valor
These pieces will give you the normal tier look. Sadly there doesn’t appear to be a piece that matches the gloves, thankfully the gloves in this set aren’t particularly important.
Weapons
Now this is where things get interesting. Not only will you be able to be draped with tentacles, but armed with them as well! Sadly there aren’t that many weapons in game that thematically fit with tentacles, but I’ve done my best to find them.
One handed swords
When it comes to one handed swords there isn’t really all that much to choose from sadly, this is the singular best fit I could find

On the flip side, with staffs we are almost spoilt for choice.

Despite the fact that wands aren’t a huge part right now, soon enough these will be main hand weapons.

Belt
Regarding belts try as I might I can’t find a invisible, or close to cloth belt. This leaves us with a single belt that fits at least color wise, although it doesn’t feature tentacles

The cherry on top
If your wanting to really push the tentacle theme beyond just a transmog set there are 2 trinkets that will let you summon tentacles to your aid.
Yes, thats right. Not only will you be wearing tentacles, armed with tentacles, but you will be surrounded by tentacles!
